Our latest additional to our ever growing Asian bookings is taking to Jakarta and Bali this weekend!
Arguably Northern Ireland’s hottest export, DJ/Producer Junior J has carved himself a career many other 20 year olds can only dream of. Since the age of 17, Jay Hamilton has worked relentlessly forcing people to sit up and take notice of this young musical aficionado who has the passion and talent to go all the way.
Establishing himself as the main resident DJ at Lush! in Portrush (N. Ireland), over the past 18 months alone Junior J has made an impact on
an international scale with mainroom sets at Cream Amnesia, Judgement Sundays, Ibiza Rocks, BCM Mallorca, Papaya Beach Festival in Croatia
and Ku Portugal. In the UK he’s played at Ministry of Sound, Sankeys,
The Warehouse Project, Digital, Northern Lights Festival, Manchester Pride and many other venues up and down the country, with his third Creamfields Festival set just around the corner.
When he’s not playing alongside industry heavyweights such as Calvin Harris, Oliver Heldens, Chocolate Puma, MK, Fatboy Slim, Danny Howard,
DJ EZ, MNEK and Andrea Oliva to name just a few, he’s honing his fresh and unique sound in the studio. Kicking off his production career with a release on Spinnin’, he’s since dropped tracks on Garuda Music, Vicious Recordings, as well as Diffused and is currently preparing to unleash his new productions on some of the most respected labels around. Having already gained support from Pete Tong, Mark Knight and Danny Howard, these releases look set to do the business worldwide.
Catching the eyes and ears of the most influential in the industry, he’s definitely got what it takes to be one of the new generation’s most exciting DJ/Producers. A lot can, and has happened in three years, and with a storming new house track forthcoming on Spinnin Deep, Junior J is only just getting started.
